Infinity signs Turner and Hegarty to join its directors' roster

Infinity Productions has signed Elliot Hegarty and Godman's Alex Turner as directors.

Joining from, Hegarty's first three ads were humorous spots for the holiday operator Club 18-30, renowned for its risque advertising, for which he won a bronze Lion at Cannes and a silver and two bronzes at the British Television Advertising Awards.

Hegarty, the son of the Bartle Bogle Hegarty founder John Hegarty, has also written and directed ten short films and his debut feature film - a comedy charting a week in the life of a pub in Kilburn called County Kilburn - is due for release next month.

Turner, who joined Godman as one of its first roster directors, has worked for clients including Sony PlayStation 2, The Guardian, Adidas and Volkswagen.

Infinity Productions was set up in 2001 by Mark Stothert, the producer who founded John S Clarke Productions 20 years ago.

"When I started Infinity, I didn't rush into expanding the roster, I waited for the right talent to come along and Alex and Elliot very much fill this brief," Stothert said.

"Elliot has real flair and the gift of directing humour. Alex creates a beautiful mix of performance and strong visuals. Together, they bring an enormous amount to the company."
