Remember the old days? Ads were made of wood, film was made of film
and the D&AD book was a yearly 80lb treat. Now everything’s gone digital
and the ’book’ is a CD, or rather four CDs. It makes a lot of sense to
have all the work in one place instead of the book, the reel and the
audio tape and, after spending a couple of minutes getting used to the
interface, it’s really easy to use. But all that great work takes up a
lot of space and my only problem with the format is that I seemed to
spend all my time changing disks. Apart from that, it has a great search
engine and its new easy-steal size should go down well with your
placements.
