InterContinental Hotel Group backs Holiday Inn rebrand with biggest-ever brand campaign

LONDON - InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) is launching its biggest-ever brand campaign for Holiday Inn as it looks to raise awareness of the hotel chain's ongoing rebrand.

The national press, outdoor and online campaign breaks today, and will attempt to shift perceptions of the Holiday Inn brand. Ads will feature the strapline, ‘We're not changing the world overnight, just the overnight world'.

IHG kicked off a £600m rebranding programme across its 3,200 Holiday Inn hotels, which includes a major refit of its properties. The company has now updated 53 hotels in the UK and Ireland.

In June, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express were signed up by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG) as a tier three partner and ‘Official Hotel Services Provider to London 2012'.
