Cadbury’s in Australia has eschewed the traditional type of ad that

shows situations in which chocolate is enjoyed, in favour of describing

visually the thrill of eating chocolate. This commercial for Dairy Milk

is a montage of surreal images and introduces the endline: ’Chocolate is

...



Cadbury.’ The first sequence shows a girl on a train catching sight of

the man of her dreams on a parallel train. The ad rushes through other

scenes such as children delighting in eating chocolate given to them by

a drive-in movie projectionist and a man floating away grasping three

purple balloons. It ends with the girl on the train floating across to

her dream man.
