INTERNATIONAL: INTERNATIONAL GALLERY: Visa Leo Burnett

These films position the Visa card as ’all you need’. The first of the three spots features suitcases passing through an airport X-ray machine. Each case holds different objects, but one appears to be empty.

These films position the Visa card as ’all you need’. The first of

the three spots features suitcases passing through an airport X-ray

machine. Each case holds different objects, but one appears to be

empty.

On closer inspection, a Visa card appears. Another spot features a

sleeping man; a voiceover explains that the man is dreaming he’s gone to

work naked.

Just as it dawns on him that as he’s naked he can’t carry a Visa card,

he wakes with a jolt, but settles back happily when he realises it was

only a dream. A third execution features a tourist photographing

chimpanzees in a zoo. As he moves off, his wallet falls into the chimps’

compound. Unsure how to retrieve it, the tourist is stunned when the

chimp climbs down from the tree and hands the wallet back to him.

Relieved, the tourist walks away, although behind his back the chimps

celebrate as they’ve held on to the Visa card.
