Intu, the shopping centre owner, introduces the art of "Christmassing" by bringing back the bird puppet characters from last year's holiday campaign.
Each bird represents a different shopper personality type, such as the Last Minute Panic Shopper (chicken) or Wise Shopper (owl). With a voiceover from comedian Matt Lucas, the ad reminds customers that Intu can help make the Christmas shopping experience better. The puppeteers include specialist performers from Henson and War Horse. Debuting during The X Factor on 5 November, the work was created by Sam Simmonds and George Coyle at Now, and directed by Joseph Mann through Blinkink.
