Media Trader, the online media planning service launched by
MediaTel just weeks ago, has signed up magazine giant IPC to include its
inventory on the website.
IPC becomes the 40th media owner to register its advertising
availability on the site. Others include Carlton, TDI, Pearl & Dean and
Gruner & Jahr.
Media Trader has also announced that, from this week, it will offer WAP
access to the site. This will enable agency users to view the five most
recent offers from media owners and respond to those owners
Users will also receive alerts announcing the latest offers.
Ralph Simpson, commercial director of MediaTel, said: ’With our instant
audience of more than 2,000 regular users, Media Trader is shaping up to
be the UK’s number one media trading website.’
However, Media Trader is at present an availability service only, unlike
rival site iMediapoint. com, which offers online trading. Media Trader
plans to offer online trading in the near future.
