Tucker, who was also an associate publisher of Condé Nast’s GQ Style, replaces Glenda Marchant, who left the role at the end of last year.

He joined GQ in 1999 as the fashion advertising manager and, before that, was a menswear buyer and manager for Matches, the designer fashion retailer, for nine years.

Alex Russell, IPC Southbank’s group advertising director, said: "Lewis is steeped in the worlds of fashion and luxury goods and his experience is perfect for InStyle."
