IPC Music & Sport has appointed Neil Robinson, the associate publisher of the NME, Melody Maker and nme.com, as media network director working across the entire music and sport portfolio of titles online.
Robinson will look at bringing a number of new projects online. His first project will be to develop the NME's website, nme.com, as a global brand.
At the same time NME editor, Steve Sutherland, has been named as brand director of the company's flagship music title.
Both appointments are designed to reflect IPC's intent to build a substantial online business based on its magazine brands.
