- IPC Magazines is to base its first foray into masthead TV programming around its monthly parenting title, Practical Parenting.

The UK cable channel, Living, will run a series of 12 five-minute programmes entitled Practical Parenting from 23 November. The shows are designed as insert programmes to be slotted into Tiny Living, which fills Living's weekday morning schedule from 6am to 9am.

Each show will carry Practical Parenting branding and will be supported in the magazine, with experts appearing in the five minute slots contributing editorial on their specialised areas to the magazine.

Nick Ryle, IPC's head of TV development, said: "It is the company's first venture into the world of masthead television and I believe it will prove to be an excellent platform from which IPC can launch its career within this new arena."
