The account, worth an estimated EUR20 million, will be co-ordinated by Initiative's international team in Paris, supported by Brand Connection in The Netherlands.
Tommy Hilfiger's UK fashion account was previously handled by More Media, but will now switch to Initiative's UK office.
Optimedia won the consolidated pan-European Tommy Hilfiger account in 1999, before its merger with Zenith Media. However, More Media had since won the business across 13 continental markets and now loses the account.
Avery Baker, Tommy Hilfiger's senior vice-president, marketing and communications, said: "The newly developed media structure will ensure an innovative media approach, reflecting the company's plans for future growth in Europe."
