ISES has agreed to a new sponsorship with agency, which will see the implementation of a university tour, offering students the chance to find out more about the trends and challenges facing the events industry.
The partnership, which kicks off in spring 2016, will also see the association work more closely with higher education organisations, with the chapter’s members giving input into the event syllabus.
Jackson, director of innovation & ideas at The Experience is the Marketing, said: "The best way to learn anything is to experience it, so we’ve named this programme ’Experience the Industry’.
"It means we can bring to life the world of events, experience marketing and brand activation, and give students a taste of the world they are about to enter."
In October this year ISES chose the Event Awards 2015 to showcase its commitment to the next generation of talent, bringing 50 event management students along to the annual awards bash.
"There is great talent out there and the more we as an industry put into the educational organisations, the better it will be. This is a responsibility we should all feel," added Jackson.
Event launched its Student Hub in November, which gives event industry hopefuls the chance to find out more about the industry, from those currently working in it.
