ITV confirms Granada's Duff to head merged sales house

BREAKING NEWS - As exclusively revealed by Campaign, Graham Duff has been given the job of running the merged ITV sales operation.

In the new position of managing director designate of ITV Sales, Duff will lead the single ITV sales operation that will be created through the integration of Carlton and Granada's sales operation following the merger of the two companies. His appointment was first revealed in Campaign on October 10.

Duff said: "ITV sales will need to work in very close partnership with advertisers and media buyers and really let ITV deliver for advertisers' brands. My first job will be to put the right people, sales structure and processes in place to make that happen."

Duff, the chief executive of Granada Enterprises since 2001, will report to Mick Desmond, the chief executive designate of ITV broadcasting.
