ITV's nostalgic ad campaign takes viewers back through 57 years of Coronation Street.
The ad recreates iconic scenes from the soap opera and gives a behind-the-scenes look at how they were filmed. It was shot on the Coronation Street set and at Shepperton Studios. Art director Matt Gant recreated the scenes using authentic equipment, cameras, wallpapers and fabrics from each time period. Michelle Mays, who also worked on John Lewis' "Always a woman" ad, created the costumes using archive photography and references from the soap’s archivist, Helen Nugent.
