ITV Creative crafted a charming animated story of a polar bear who dreams of dancing on ice for the return of the ITV show Dancing on Ice.
The bear is a long way from graceful, but with the help of a partner his confidence and skating prowess eventually soars. The characters were brought to life with a combination of animation and motion capture of real figure skaters in Sweden, with help from Stockholm-based animation studio Goodbye Kansas. The promo will launch on ITV from 3 December and in cinemas from 19 December. It was conceived of by executive creative director Tony Pipes with creative directors Alex Mathieson and Anton Ezer, and directed by Kirk Hendry through Hush.
