ITV gears up for the Rugby World Cup with an action-packed spot.
Set in the lead up to the tournament, the animated film features fans from all home nations as they fall asleep in a series of inconspicuous places. Each dreamer is transformed to a hallucinogenic world of anime, 16-bit gaming and (you guessed it) rugby, in reference to the tournament’s host nation, Japan. Thankfully, the fans are swiftly torn from their slumbers just before the Rugby World Cup is about to kick off.
Set to the sound of Goku by Jaden Smith (which is inspired by anime Dragon Ball Z), the work was created by Anthony Dziworshie and directed by Keith McCarthy and Golden Wolf through Stink Films.
