Jeff Stark finds life after Large at The Pink Film Company

Jeff Stark, the co-founder of the defunct production company Large, has signed to The Pink Film Company for commercials representation.

Stark will take his long-term producer and joint Large managing director, Cathy Green, and the ex-Large director Simon Green (no relation) with him to Pink. Neither Stark nor Cathy Green will take equity in the company, which is owned and run by Karen Cunningham.

Pink's roster, now eight-strong, features the directors Michael Georgehan, Pat Holden and Klaus Thymann.

Stark formed Large by merging his company, Stark Films, with Daniel Kleinman's Spectre in 2003. The pair decided to wind up the business in September this year when it became clear it was overly reliant on their turnover and would need job cuts to remain in profit.
