Since moving from London to Texas last year following a promotion, Tilling, formerly marketing vice-president for the UK & Ireland, has stayed in close touch with the UK, retain­ing her presidency of WACL. On the KFC front, Tilling’s work has included establishing a global brand positioning and leading advertising and digital initiatives, including mobile ordering and loyalty tests in multiple markets. It has been a year of innovation for the energetic Aussie. In a bold move, KFC rolled out its ‘C is for chicken quality’ activity, which invited food bloggers to take a look at its kitchens. Then in September, in the UK, KFC unveiled what it dubbed the "biggest overhaul to its menu for two decades", with the launch of pulled chicken. Tilling is now no doubt busy plotting celebrations for the brand, which will mark the milestone of 50 years in the UK next year.
