MullenLowe creates a snackable print ad for New York Post readers
Hungry for a snack? Just pick up Saturday’s New York Post and look for the enclosed JetBlue ad. For its latest marketing stunt, the airline has created an edible ad promoting its new all-you-can-eat snacks policy. The ad, created by MullenLowe, is printed with edible ink on a letter-sized sheet of bland potato starch—though I detect a faint hint of root vegetable. Previous stunts created by the agency and the airline have included free airfare triggered by crying babies and tickets awarded to passengers forced into mid-flight consensus-building.
