Frood joins from WWAV Rapp Collins, where he was the planning director for ten years. His appointment is the first to be made by the recently instated EMEA president, Andrew Edwards, in the creation of a regional, integrated management team.
In his new role, Frood will develop integrated strategies across Arc's UK and EMEA clients, as well as in new business. He will also be charged with forging integrated relationships across the region within the network.
Edwards said: "It has been my aim to pull together a best-in-class management team for EMEA. My search for the perfect candidate for Arc has been meticulous and I am delighted that John has chosen to accept the challenges that the region has to offer."
Frood added: "Arc has all the tools in the box and an appetite to deliver on integration. I relish the opportunity to make a difference."
During his ten years at WWAV, Frood worked on some of the agency's flagship clients, including Sony Europe, Wanadoo, Somerfield, Cahoot and Habitat.
