John Lewis to launch Spring TV ad campaign by Lowe

LONDON - John Lewis will next week launch its first Spring television advertising campaign since 2005.

The campaign, created by Lowe London, launches on Tuesday and will showcase the new collection of Spring Homeware.

Set on a theatre stage, the features four performances inspired by John Lewis products. They include a yellow parasol, cushions, a chaise longue and a variety of chandeliers. Each has a different musical style to complement the product.

The ad concludes with all four performers taking a bow and the endline "John Lewis. Set the stage for Spring".

The campaign features one 40-second spot and four 10-second spots. It will run for four weeks with its first slot during the Champions League on ITV1.

Gill Barr, the marketing director of John Lewis said: "We were keen to show how just one product can transform both a person's outlook and home. The ad aims to give our customers inspiration and to help them see their home in a new light."
