Last year, this bold, exuberant marketer made the Power 100 for his work on Coca-Cola, and this year, after only six months in his new role, he makes the list again. Just five weeks after joining Airbnb, he launched a radical redesign of the brand, which had the blogosphere buzzing. This was less than six months after leaving his legacy mark on Coke: a Super Bowl campaign that went viral, which, for the first time, featured same-sex parents in the brand’s advertising. Mildenhall has been made an honorary doctor of business administration by Manchester Metropolitan University for his contribution to the British advertising industry.
