JP Morgan Fleming appoints Ping to run its direct business

JP Morgan Fleming, the financial services company, has appointed

Ping Communications to handle its direct marketing business.

Ping has been appointed to a seven-figure account to communicate the

rebranding of the newly formed company JP Morgan Fleming Asset

Management. The specialist financial agency will develop several direct

mail executions in the UK and other European markets.

More than 300,000 customers will be targeted by Ping and there will be

separate mailings to more than 7,000 asset managers and five mailings to

15,000 independent financial advisers.

The direct marketing will run alongside advertising running through Rapp

Collins France.

Richard Chambers, head of UK marketing at JP Morgan Fleming Asset

Management, said: 'This rebranding is a major task, requiring arresting

and informative information. Ping's specialist capabilities are well

known to us. As an agency it understands the demands of financial

services marketing, but not at the expense of creativity.'

Rupert Pybus, managing partner of Ping, said: 'This is a great

opportunity to get involved in a brand at an early stage of its

development.'

JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management provides financial services advice to

private individuals and institutions.
