JWT hires Enda McCarthy for Kellogg task

J. Walter Thompson has hired Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper’s Enda McCarthy as a managing partner to run the agency’s pounds 50 million Kellogg business.

as a managing partner to run the agency’s pounds 50 million Kellogg

business.



McCarthy will be one of the agency’s eight managing partners. At Euro

RSCG he was an executive director, latterly responsible for the agency’s

Independent Newspapers and Abbey National accounts.



Stephen Carter, JWT’s chief executive, said: ’The Kellogg business is a

critically important client for JWT. Enda’s strong, energetic and

entrepreneurial style will be fantastic for the team.’



McCarthy, 31, joined Euro RSCG in 1996 as an account director and joined

the agency’s board in 1998. He has worked on Air UK, Ask Jeeves, Procter

& Gamble and the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) since he

has been there.



He joined Euro RSCG from Collett Dickenson Pearce, where he worked

between 1994 and 1996. There his responsibilities included new business,

Honda, Gallaher and BNFL.



He joined Publicis in 1992 and worked on the L’Oreal, Nintendo and KP

accounts.
