Karmarama hires Caroline Pay as CD

LONDON - Caroline Pay, the former Bartle Bogle Hegarty creative director and co-creator of the agency's acclaimed "dangerous liaisons" spot for Levi's, has been hired to an equivalent role at Karmarama.

Pay will focus on Karmarama's lastminute.com account, which it picked up in October after a pitch against WCRS and The Brooklyn Brothers.

She will report to Dave Buonaguidi, Karmarama's creative partner and founder.

Buonaguidi said: "Caroline has fantastic experience from some of the best creative companies in the world, producing brilliant work wherever she has been. Her hiring is a great example of our creative ambition."

Pay has recently been working on a freelance basis at Wieden & Kennedy, focusing on its Honda business.

While at BBH, she worked alongside Nick Gill and Mark Reddy on the Barnardo's account, as well as producing the D&AD-winning "dangerous liaisons" spot alongside Steve Wakelam and Dean Wei.

Pay's career also includes a stint at Mother, where she partnered Kim Gehrig.
