Kerry Foods is searching for a digital agency for its Cheestrings brand in the UK.

The pitch is being conducted through AAR.

Kelly Rafferty, marketing manager at Kerry Foods, said the process was part of the company's commitment to changing consumer misconceptions of Cheestrings and highlighting its nutritional credentials.

Rafferty said: "We have exciting plans for the brand and the appointed digital agency will play a pivotal role in these, so we are very much looking forward to kicking off a successful new partnership."

In May, Kerry Foods called a pitch for its £13 million UK and Ireland media planning and buying account.

It is understood that the company plans to consolidate the entire business, currently split between Vizeum (which handles the Cheestrings brand) and Universal McCann in the UK and Starcom in
Ireland, into one agency.

In May, Kerry Foods awarded the advertising account for Cheestrings to Fallon after a pitch against undisclosed agencies.
