The dance music station is planning to hold credentials meetings in the next couple of weeks. The successful agency will be briefed to produce a TV and print campaign to boost its listening figures and increase share of the London audience, which currently stands at 4.2 per cent, according to the latest Rajar figures.
Kiss FM has no incumbent agency, and has previously appointed shops on a project-by-project basis. Its most recent ad campaign was produced by the Naked-owned agency ODD in 2006.
The agency created a new logo and an ad campaign for the station after Emap, its parent company at the time, acquired Vibe Bristol and East Anglia's Vibe FM, rebranding the stations as Kiss West and Kiss East respectively.
Kiss' most prolific advertising period came in the late 90s, when the station hired Mother to produce a TV campaign for its relaunch.
Kiss is the fourth most popular radio station in London with 1.43 million listeners.
