The Peanut Butter variant is the latest product innovation under the Kit Kat umbrella. Previous variants have included Mint & Orange and Lemon & Yoghurt flavours. Further limited editions are in development.
The confectionery giant recently launched a Cherry Kit Kat in Japan, but the spokeswoman said there are no plans to introduce it in the UK.
Nestle is currently running an on-pack promotion across its Kit Kat portfolio, inviting consumers to bid for or buy a range of products using 'KitKash' points, which can be collected using a unique on-pack code.
