Five years as marketing chief at William Hill has done nothing to diminish Fahy’s touch for the controversial. A regular on the conference circuit, he told delegates at a Marketing event that his peers should stop obsessing about ROI and "just get on with it". He told another audience that marketers who have aspirations to become chief executives need to "adopt a CEO mindset". Does the latter provide a hint as to Fahy’s future career plans?
