Land Rover goes 'above and beyond' in biggest ever global marketing campaign

Land Rover has rolled out a global marketing campaign that celebrates adventure and champions the diversity of its new model and demonstrating how the vehicle can traverse terrain almost anywhere in the world.

The car manufacturer has launched its "largest ever" global advertising campaign to celebrate the "breadth and range of uses of Land Rovers around the world".

The campaign includes a 1.19 minute TV ad. It will kick off in China, Land Rover's largest market, before rolling out across the rest of the world. It is the first campaign under global marketing communications director Dominic Chambers who joined Land Rover in February

The ad, developed by Y&R, took over one month to film. It features a multitude of different locations such as LA, London and the Andes in Chile, in a bid to show that Land Rover can go "above and beyond".

The campaign will be supported by print and online advertising that expands upon the "varied lives and uses of each and every Land Rover".

The print work, conceived by Y&R, was shot by the photographer Gary Bryant and produced by Tag Worldwide.

Chambers said: "The commercial captures the unique breadth of capability that is in the DNA of every Land Rover and the potential for our drivers to make more of their world."
