Publicis London has been tasked with developing an "innovative, creative" platform to "cut through" what it describes as an "increasingly saturated" market. The account includes TV, VOD, print and social activity; the first work by the agency will roll out early next year.
It becomes the third agency to hold the account in under two years. Adam & Eve/DDB resigned the business in 2016, as the brand scaled back its UK operation following its acquisition by Bravofly Rumbo Group.
FCB was appointed in January with a remit to "build emotional value", but resigned the business in the summer for undisclosed reasons.
Yannic Pluymackers, chief marketing officer at Lastminute.com Group, said: "We’re very much looking forward to working with Publicis. In a challenging industry, we have the ambition to stand out from the crowd and maintain our position as one of the leaders in the online travel market."
