Online travel and leisure retailer has launched a pop-up in London's Waterloo station today (18 December) showcasing the UK's worst and best Christmas presents. creates Sh-elves of Shame and Splendid creates Sh-elves of Shame and Splendid

The ‘Sh-elf of Shame’ has been filled with the Brits’ unfavourable festive gifts, including diet books, brooms and toilet paper, as revealed in a survey of 2,000 people. The activation will also showcase stories posted to the brand’s Facebook page.

To market its deals for the new year, has also created a ‘Sh-elf of Splendid’, featuring 13 gifts from the company that can be purchased at the stand. These include theatre tickets, hotel rooms, makeover experiences and spa days, and the company is offering a different deal every hour.

Commuters can also take an ‘elfie’ photo together with pink elves and write their worst ever present story on a giant parcel. They can then share this content on Twitter to be in with a chance of winning a pair of Eurostar tickets to France. is partnering with Taylor Herring PR to run the campaign, Sketch Events to create the stand and build and Looking Glass to book the experiential space.
