This captures the personal side of an engagement and wedding. Statman shot material on a Sony DV hidden under his clothing, intended as a present for his best friend getting hitched. He became so enchanted by the images that he decided to produce a short film. Black and white footage creates a timeless atmosphere, while ambient music succeeds in lifting it above the boundaries of montage.
