advertiser, Telecom Italia. It beat local stalwarts, including Armando

pound business.

The recently privatised Telecom Italia is eager to distance itself from

its publicly owned past, and reposition itself as an international

telecommunications group. Leagas Delaney has been allocated the task of

running a corporate repositioning campaign for the organisation this

year.

Tim Delaney, the executive creative director of Leagas Delaney, led the

pitches, which were held in December. The campaign will cover both

television and print and will run mostly in Italy.
