Nigel Reeve has poached a director from media agency TCS to
mastermind his plans to launch 24-hour internet radio stations across
Nicky Leggatt will join Reeve’s fledgling Fusion Radio Group (Media
business, 6 March) in a fortnight.
Once in place, she will launch ten internet radio stations in every area
where Fusion Radio Group sets up a traditional radio station.
Each web station will cover a different sector: news, children’s, sport,
entertainment and public services. They will air continuously and be
tailored to local audiences.
Reeve will unveil details of the first three traditional radio stations
to come out of his network over the next two weeks. He is aiming to
launch six by May but their 60 sister web stations will not go live
Leggatt, who was associate director at TCS and worked on the Dell,
Logica and Unijet accounts, is looking for three sales staff .
She will continue to work with Steve Booth, managing partner at Booth
Lockett Makin, who is advising Fusion Radio Group on a consultancy
