Leo Burnett Group to move to Kensington office used by D'Arcy

The Leo Burnett Group is set to leave its Chelsea home after eight years and relocate to the former D'Arcy offices.

The group, which includes Leo Burnett and its below-the-line counterpart Leonardo, will vacate its offices in Sloane Avenue and move to the Warwick Building in Kensington Village within the next few months.

The move is designed to enable the main agency to forge closer working relationships with fellow members of the group, such as Masius and Arc.

Both companies remained in Kensington after their parent agency, D'Arcy, was merged with Leo Burnett towards the end of last year.

Leo Burnett's chief executive, Bruce Haines, denied that the move will demotivate Leo Burnett staff. "While it's true that people love the building we're in now, they're also aware of the logic of the decision, and are excited about the opportunity this presents for the group," he said.
