LETTERS: D&AD JURIES; Can’t women be trusted at D&AD?

I was dispirited to see only ten women on the D&AD jury of 130 people, more so given that, of these, five are on the illustration and pop promo juries, leaving a measly five spread thinly over the advertising categories.

There are currently 80 women working in the creative departments of the

top 27 agencies. They write ads, art direct ads, supervise ads, present

ads and, yes, win awards for ads.

Seems like the only thing they can’t be trusted to do is vote for them.
