Moody is inviting rugby fans from around the globe to stay at his family home in the Wiltshire town of Bradford On Avon this September. Guests will be able to peruse the sports star’s array of rugby memorabilia, including signed rugby balls, an England 2003 winning shirt and a Lions jacket.

The house also comes with a garden complete with rugby posts. It is situated between London and Cardiff, both of which will host games during the tournament.

Moody will give guests a signed rugby ball, host a mini rugby coaching session with them and conduct a personal tour of the house. He will also encourage his lodgers to watch a game at the Bradford On Avon Rugby Club, where he is now volunteer director of rugby.

Unlike previous Airbnb’s ‘Night At’ events, guests will not to have to enter a competition to stay at the listing, and can book the property through the website’s usual format. The Moody Home can accommodate eight guests, and house rules include ‘No Welsh or All Blacks shirts’, ‘No chanting of the Haka’ and ‘Compulsory singing of God Save The Queen at 8am every morning’.

James McClure, general manager UK & Ireland at Airbnb, said: "This is an opportunity of a lifetime for a rugby fan looking for the most authentic all-round experience when they visit us this September. Through Airbnb all our guests live like locals, but it’s not often that they get the opportunity to be hosted by one of England’s sporting superstars at a time when all eyes are on the nation.

"We hope the nation will be inspired by Lewis to showcase their great British hospitality by hosting fans from around the world to give them their best rugby experience yet."
