LICENSING: Pepper's Ghost extends its Tiny Planets empire

Pepper's Ghost this month extends its licensing campaign for CiTV kids show Bing & Bong's Tiny Planets after signing deals with stationery and confectionery manufacturers.

Calendar publisher Danilo is creating Tiny Planets-branded cards, gift wrap, tags and calendars, and Hazlewood Cakes and Desserts is launching two branded cakes. Both feature furry aliens Bing and Bong, one with the pair on a sugar-paste plaque, the other on a sofa.

These new lines add to the current licensing drive, which includes nightwear and toys.

The series tells the story of Bing and Bong, who live on another planet and explore the galaxy on their sofa. It's aimed at children between the ages of three and six.
