Lidl’s Christmas campaign continues its "Lidl surprises" ploy – giving people free food and then revealing that the luxurious snacks come from the budget supermarket. TBWA\London created the latest ad, in which Hertfordshire residents are treated by an unknown benefactor to Christmas lunch at a stately home. The guests suppose that the food must have come from Marks & Spencer or Waitrose, only to be told that they are all Lidl products. The work was written by Tom Gong, art directed by Dan Kenny and directed by Natalie Spooner through Rogue.
