In the ad, created by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, bathers are shown swimming in the sea, when a fin appears causing everyone to run out of the water screaming.
The shark lands on the beach, but waits until it is deserted before its mouth opens to reveal that it is actually controlled by Gary Lineker. Dressed in a Bond-style wetsuit, Linker then runs around the beach collecting all the packets of Walkers Mediterranean that have been left behind.
The BBC 'Match of the Day' star and former England player has been the face of Walkers for 10 years, and this new spot is the 48th ad he has made for the PepsiCo-owned brand.

The issue came to a head after the publication of a report in May by the House of Commons health committee on obesity, in which a panel looking at the issue said it was "shocked" about advertising for Walkers Wotsits, also created by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, which it said "deliberately undermined parental control" by exploiting pester power.
Walkers Mediterranean is a range of limited-edition flavours released for the summer, including Greek Kebab, Tomato & Basil and Feta Cheese flavours. The ad breaks on Thursday June 24.
