A fly on the wall at the annual IPA Presidents' reception would see a depressing representation of the vibrant world of advertising, such is the preponderance of grey hair and testosterone. So news that the IPA may break its 87-year mould and appoint a media specialist, a DM expert or even a woman as its next president (see page 6) is to be welcomed.
