Between the Lines: Internet is perfect for youth

COI's decision to hire a digital agency to promote its sexual-health message is a good one (page 4).

It follows news last week that the organisation is also seeking a digital agency to handle its anti-binge-drinking campaign.

The internet is the perfect environment for reaching younger people. Not only will any message come across as less preachy than it might as a television commercial, the internet will enable people to investigate the issues in private.

Best of all, from the taxpayers' perspective at least, it should be an awful lot cheaper.
