Between the Lines: MacLennan's time to shine

For a man who always gives the impression of not giving a toss, Moray MacLennan has found himself saddled with a lot of extra responsibility in the wake of the departure of his M&C Saatchi soulmate Nick Hurrell (page 1).

But MacLennan's devil-may-care attitude is born of a self-confidence that marks him out as an agile thinker and one of the best suits around.

He could be running another top agency by now but has remained a Saatchi loyalist. It is to be hoped the M&C Saatchi founders do not become so preoccupied with thoughts of retirement that they fail to give him the help he will need.
