Between the Lines: Mildenhall turns marketer

Two years ago, when Jonathan Mildenhall's plans to join TBWA in New York fell apart, his future career path was looking bleak.

But it turned out to be the making of the man. Left with no job, Mildenhall did an MBA at Harvard before joining Mother. Harvard equipped him with the business nous that qualifies him to take the Coca-Cola marketing helm (page 1).

It is great news for him, and great news for Mother. The agency's weight on the Coca-Cola roster has increased over the past three years. Having someone in Atlanta so familiar with Mother's charms could invigorate the relationship further.
