Between the Lines: Mother's Monkey business

The return of Monkey and Johnny Vegas, this time to front PG Tips, is a good move (page 1). The double-act is just the right fit for any tea brand that is hoping to improve its credentials among younger tea drinkers, who these days prefer a visit to Starbucks to making a brew.

The demise of ITV Digital brought the Monkey campaign to a premature end: there's still a lot of life in the advertising. Its return should be welcomed by sofa occupants all over the country. All in all, it seems a good solution for Mother and PG Tips.
