Between the Lines: Outdoor momentum grows

The latest outdoor advertising figures (page 4) show that the poster industry is limping forward, despite all the structural upheaval this year.

With Maiden's demise and sale to Titan, then Clear Channel's management clear-out and the sale of its parent to a private equity company, it's been a year of seismic change. So any growth is impressive.

Now with the industry looking on a much firmer footing for 2007, the sector must ensure it regains real momentum through a concerted marketing effort.
