it is!"
Lowdown Morrison is one of the most user-friendly executives of the ISBA
high command. She is a client representative who enjoys adland and being
part of its social circuit. Always good company at an awards night.

If you were an ad, what would your strapline be? Undisclosed.
Lowdown A well-connected top account man, whose unquestioned loyalty to
the Saatchi brothers has earned him a valued place in their inner
circle. Also famous for helping to launch the "Famous Porkinson Banger"
over a wine-fuelled evening with Norman Parkinson.
MURDOCH, JAMES
Job Chief executive, BSkyB.
Company BSkyB, Grant Way, Isleworth, Middlesex.
Work tel +44(0)870 240 3000.
Details Not supplied.
Lowdown Some BSkyB shareholders were distinctly unimpressed when one of
Rupert Murdoch's sons was seemingly foisted upon them as chief
executive.
However, this little display of investor power failed, unlike the
deposing of Carlton's Michael Green. Murdoch Junior has devised some
imaginative ways to counter BSkyB's stalling growth and all eyes will be
on next year's results.
MURDOCH, RUPERT
Job Chairman and chief executive, News International.
Company News International, 1 Virginia Street, London E9.
Work tel +44(0)20 7782 6000.
Details Not supplied.
Lowdown Murdoch's star showed no sign of waning as he took a firmer grip
on BSkyB, installing his son, James, as chief executive despite
shareholder disquiet. While pocketing a record paycheque, Murdoch is
making Tony Blair nervous ahead of the next general election by courting
Michael Howard - the Tory leader attended the News Corporation newspaper
conference in Cancun.
MURPHY, GUY
Job Deptuy chairman and head of planning, Bartle Bogle Hegarty.
Company Bartle Bogle Hegarty, 60 Kingly Street, London W1.

Favourite radio programme Sports Report.
How do you unwind? Running.
What is your greatest extravagance? Apple Mac G5.
Name one thing about yourself that might surprise others
My middle name.
If you were an ad, what would your strapline be? "WotalotIgot!"
Lowdown Following John Bartle and Nick Kendall in the BBH planning
hierarchy is a tall order but, then again, smooth succession in planning
has rarely been a problem for the agency. Oh, and that middle name is St
John Nicholas.
MURPHY, JAMES BENEDICT
Job Managing director, Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R.
Company Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R, Greater London House,
Hampstead Road, London NW1.
Work tel +44(0)20 7611 6957.
Born 20 March 1967.
Place of birth Norfolk.
Lives London.
Family Girlfriend, Vicky.
Career milestones 1990: post room at Dorlands. 1991: graduate trainee,
Ogilvy & Mather (Guinness, Ford, Save the Children, Unilever). 1995:
joined Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe as account director (Scottish
Courage, Virgin, News International). 1999: head of account handling
through merger with Young & Rubicam. 2001: managing partner, 2003:
managing director.
What one principle in life do you live by? Stand close enough to
brilliance and some of it will rub off on you.
What advice would you give someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
This business is great because you're surrounded by diverse talents,
characters and challenges. Don't be a passenger. Always have an opinion,
always make it heard - it may ruffle feathers in the short term but it
keeps things moving and people will be grateful for your honesty.
Your alternative career? Freelance combine
harvester contractor.
Name your three closest friends in the business Bill Bernbach, David
Ogilvy and Rosser Reeves - ouija board
coaching circle.
Favourite consumer magazine Q.
Favourite business magazine That's My Livestock (quarterly).
Favourite newspaper The Sunday Times.
Favourite TV programme Documentaries about sharks or war, preferably
both.
Favourite radio programme Just a Minute.
How do you unwind? Buying records.
What is your greatest extravagance? Oversized plants for roof garden.
Name one thing about yourself that might surprise others I was once
approached and signed by a talent scout in a Norfolk nightspot to be
bass player in a band entering the Eurovision Song Contest. (I was
unable to play the bass guitar at the time - or subsequently.)
If you were an ad, what would your strapline be? "Vorsprung Dork
Technic."
Lowdown A music junkie who buys CDs by the gross, Murphy found the
transition to managing director a shock at first. Who wouldn't with
Rainey, Kelly, Campbell and Roalfe still omnipresent at the agency when
he ascended the throne? Nonetheless, he is maturing into the role well
and maintains a sensible "man of the people" demeanour appropriate to
the agency's independent roots. He is key to the agency's Virgin
Atlantic business.
MURRAY, JORIAN MARK
Job Managing director, DDB London.
Company DDB London, 12 Bishop's Bridge Road, London W2.
Work tel +44(0)20 7258 4274.
Born 1 September 1961.
Place of birth London.
Lives Muswell Hill, London.
Family Debbie and three children: Joe (10), Eleanor (7) and George (3).
Career milestones Advertising sales to retail client to account
management.
Five years at Publicis and 12 years at (BMP) DDB London. Twelve-year
association with Volkswagen. In that time, the brand share has doubled
and we have won more than our fair share of effectiveness and creative
awards - the highlight being Campaign's advertiser and campaign of the
year in 1997.
Other direct account experience includes Sony Europe, New Labour,
Barclaycard, Thomson/Tui, Kwik-Fit, Lego and Legoland and now Anadin. In
this time, DDB London has won Campaign agency of the year twice and has
consistenly appeared at the top of the Gunn Report. In 2000, I attended
the Harvard Business School advanced management programme.
What one principle in life do you live by? Treat people the way you
would wish to be treated yourself.
What advice would you give someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
Don't rush, enjoy the journey. An experienced and successful BMP account
handler, John Mcknight, once told me that there are only four jobs in
account management so take your time and enjoy each one of them. He was
absolutely right.
Your alternative career? If I knew I probably wouldn't be in
advertising.
Name your three closest friends in the business Jonathan Hill at Huge.
Jeremy Craigen at DDB. Tony Harris at Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R.
Favourite consumer magazine The Observer Sports/Food and Music Monthly.
Favourite business magazine The Observer business section.
Favourite newspaper You guessed it - The Observer.
Favourite TV programme Fawlty Towers.
Favourite radio programme The Today programme in the morning and
talkSPORT on the way home.
How do you unwind? Walking Archie, the dog. Joe and I are Arsenal season
ticket holders.
What is your greatest extravagance? A third child.
Name one thing about yourself that might surprise others I've scored a
goal at Highbury against the Arsenal first team.
If you were an ad, what would your strapline be? "Don't panic."
Lowdown The cheery Londoner started off in ad sales and has traversed
through the account-handling ranks, ending up as a piece of the
furniture at DDB. He is DDB's Mr Volkswagen, having worked on the
account for 12 years.
MYERSON, STAN
Job Joint managing director, Express Newspapers.
Company Express Newspapers, Ludgate House, 245 Blackfriars Road, London
SE1.
Work tel +44(0)20 7928 8000.
Details Not supplied.
Lowdown Some may say that Myerson exerts too iron a grip on the Express
sales department, but there is no doubting the influence of his unique
negotiation skills. Kept busy with the plans to launch a daily free
paper in London and aggressive promotional ideas for the Express titles.
N
NAIRN, ANDY
Job Planning director, Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy.
Company Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy, 15 Rathbone Street, London W1.
Work tel +44(0)20 7073 6940.
Born 8 February 1970.
Place of birth Duns, Berwickshire, Scotland.
Lives Swiss Cottage, London.
Family Wife, Louise. One son.
Career milestones 1993: discover planning by accident, after applying to
Abbott Mead Vickers as an account handler (luckily - for all concerned -
they immediately point me in the right direction). Work with some great
people on some great work, including Health Education Authority
anti-smoking, Kiss FM and WH Smith. 1997: discover Virgin. Join Rainey
Kelly Campbell Roalfe to work on Virgin Atlantic, Direct and Cola. Work
with more great people and help Virgin win advertiser of the year at
Cannes in 1999.
2000: discover America. Move to San Francisco to become a planning
director at Goodby Silverstein. Win both of America's main planning
prizes (a gold APG)US award and a gold Effie) for Pacific Bell. Named
one of the world's top ten planners (excluding London) by Campaign.
2002: discover my home from home, MCBD, where I'm planning director and
enjoying helping the agency go from strength
to strength.
What one principle in life do you live by? Trust your first instincts.
What advice would you give someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
Don't try to pursue an elaborate career plan - just follow your heart.
Work hard, but make sure you have a life outside advertising. Don't play
politics. Don't get hung up on people's titles, departments or
disciplines.
Never look down on anybody. Concentrate on the important stuff.
Your alternative career? A (bored) lawyer.
Name your three closest friends in the business Too tricky
to choose.
Favourite consumer magazine The Celtic View (the magazine of Glasgow
Celtic FC).
Favourite business magazine The Economist (and Campaign, obviously).
Favourite newspaper The Sunday Times.
Favourite TV programme Little Britain.
Favourite radio programme Ricky Gervais on Xfm.
How do you unwind? Italian holidays, English gardens, Australian wine,
Scottish wife, American son. Preferably all at the same time.
What is your greatest extravagance? See previous answer.
Name one thing about yourself that might surprise others My middle name
is Kevin.
If you were an ad, what would your strapline be? I was going to put
"think different" but I doubt I'd be the only person to do so. So,
instead, I'll go for a homage to Irn-Bru: "Made in Scotland from
burgers."
Lowdown More sociable and outgoing than your average planner, Nairn is
said to be something of a comedian and the drunker he gets, the funnier
he is. A very organised worker who hates leaving things to the last
minute.
NEWHOUSE, JONATHAN
Job Chairman, Conde Nast International.
Company Conde Nast International, Vogue House, Hanover Square, London
W1.
Work tel +44(0)20 7499 9080.
Details Not supplied.
Lowdown To many, Newhouse comes across as somewhat cerebral and aloof.
To others, he personifies the cool yet never understated style (think
wealthy Manhattan in the 80s before the decade was trashed by junk
bonds) of the Vogue set. But he is no dilettante and has masterminded
Conde Nast's continued international expansion.
NEWLAND, MARTIN LAWRENCE
Job Editor, The Daily Telegraph.
Company The Daily Telegraph, 1 Canada Square, London E14.
Work tel +44(0)20 7538 5000.
Born 26 October 1961.
Place of birth Nigeria.
Lives Brockley, London.
Family Wife and four children.
Career milestones Catholic Herald, reporter. The Daily Telegraph, home
editor. The National Post, Canada, launch editor. The Daily Telegraph,
editor since October 2003.
What one principle in life do you live by? Family and faith.
What advice would you give someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
Fleet Street, contrary to popular opinion, does not thrive on bad
manners. Courtesy and good humour get you further than being a bastard.
Your alternative career? Probably be an officer with the Royal
Fusiliers.
Left Sandhurst, though, and went into journalism instead.
Name your three closest friends in the business Matt, The Telegraph's
page-one cartoonist, who is married to my sister-in-law.
Favourite consumer magazine Don't really read them.
Favourite business magazine The Economist's business coverage.
Favourite newspaper Obvious, innit?
Favourite TV programme Green Wing, although any BBC documentary or
costume drama, such as the recent one about Charles II.
Favourite radio programme The Today programme, Radio 4.
How do you unwind? Beer and television, fitness.
What is your greatest extravagance? A Breitling watch that can't tell
the time.
Name one thing about yourself that might surprise others No.
If you were an ad, what would your strapline be? Like Dudley Moore in
that movie about honest advertising: "Volvo. It's boxy but it's good."
Lowdown Newland became The Daily Telegraph's surprise editor one month
before the scandal surrounding Conrad Black and Hollinger broke. He has
held the team together through tough times, circumventing a strike at
the beginning of the year. His passions are his family, his religion and
his fitness.
NEWNHAM, ERIC
Job Chairman and chief executive, Poster Publicity.
Company Poster Publicity, 1 Warwick Row, London SW1.
Work tel +44(0)20 7592 3333.
Details Not supplied.
Lowdown A grandfather of outdoor advertising, Newnham finally managed to
sell his company to WPP after a previous attempt was aborted at the last
minute. With Poster Publicity and WPP's Portland Outdoor set to merge,
Newnham may have to preside over an almighty row as the top jobs are
divvied out.
NORMAN, ROB
Job Chairman, Mediaedge:cia UK.
Company Mediaedge:cia, 1 Paris Garden, London SE1.
Work tel +44(0)20 7703 2107.
Born 30 March 1960.
Place of birth London.
Lives Belsize Park, London.
Family Wife, Kate Marber.
Career milestones Knowing the answer to "What is seven per cent of
seven?" at my first interview. Winning Media Mind 1986, which led to CIA
hiring me. Finding a copy of the Wall Street Journal article on Time
Warner's Orlando trial in 1993, which led to the creation of CIA
Interactive. The launch of Outrider 1998. The sale of Tempus to WPP in
2001. The formation of MEC and my appointment as UK chairman.
What one principle in life do you live by? Assume that everyone means
well until it's obvious they do not.
What advice would you give someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
Get up early and make your superiors fill your time with more
interesting challenges. Always be part of the solution, not part of the
problem.
Your alternative career? Hopefully an auctioneer or a racing
commentator.
Name your three closest friends in the business 1. Everyone at MEC. 2.
Gerry Moira. 3. Adam Sunderland at White Door.
Favourite consumer magazine The Spectator.
Favourite business magazine The Antiques Trade Gazette.
Favourite newspaper The Hampstead and Highgate Express.
Favourite TV programme The West Wing.
Favourite radio programme The Archers.
How do you unwind? Tennis, art and book fairs, movies and holidays.
What is your greatest extravagance antiquarian books.
Name one thing about yourself that might surprise others
My management style was not entirely inspired by David Brent!
If you were an ad, what would your strapline be? "Fantastic value in an
easy-to-store pack!"
Lowdown Following last year's shameful departure of managing director
Matt James, Norman managed to hire well by recruiting Tom George as his
replacement. Norman is set to move to the US and he is handing over a
much healthier business than the one he inherited. His energy and quirks
will be missed on the domestic media scene.
O
O'BRIEN, JAYNE

What advice would you give someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
Ensure you are doing something that inspires you and you can feel
passionate about, value the people you work with and be yourself.Always
do what you feel is best, go with your gut instinct as long as some
logic can support it.
Your alternative career? Anything that allowed me to see the world.
Name your three closest friends in the business Andi Peters at the BBC.
Linda Grant at Capital Radio. Linda Smith at Capital Radio. Mike Hoban
at Barclaycard.
Favourite consumer magazine Vogue.
Favourite business magazine Harvard Business Review.
Favourite newspaper The Sunday Times.
Favourite TV programme CSI.
Favourite radio programme Weekend Breakfast with Andi Peters, Capital
FM.
How do you unwind? Weekends involve running with my golden retriever -
my
greatest passion. Given the opportunity, a day in the sun by the sea can
cure most stresses but, best of all, just travelling and seeing
different cultures.
What is your greatest extravagance? Shopping in Rio or New York - I just
have to do it once a year.
Name one thing about yourself that might surprise others
I speak fluent Serbo-Croat.
If you were an ad, what would your strapline be? "Let your ideas fly!"
Lowdown Don't be fooled by her penchant for black Gucci dresses, O'Brien
is no precious glamourpuss. She has never avoided a good scrap (with the
no-frills airlines) or faltered during a heart-stopping crisis
(terrorism, Sars, strikes). This sharp-shooting straight-talker may have
a passion for fashion but with it comes grit and graft.
O'KEEFFE, JOHN
Job Executive creative director, Bartle Bogle Hegarty.
Company Bartle Bogle Hegarty, 60 Kingly Street, London W1.
Work tel +44(0)20 7734 1677.
Details Not supplied.
Lowdown Bartle Bogle Hegarty's executive creative director is a famously
hard taskmaster, although friends say his bark is worse than his bite.
He's always willing to offer an, erm, "independent" point of view.
OLDHAM, MARIE ELIZABETH TERESA
Job Joint managing director,Media Planning Group.
Company Media Planning Group, 11 Great Newport Street, London WC1.
Work tel +44(0)20 7393 2410.
Born 30 October 1965.
Place of birth Dublin.
Lives North London.
Family Husband, Andrew Oldham (joint managing director, Viacom outdoor).
Daughter, Caitlin (4).
Career milestones Started as a media secretary in Dublin agencies and
came to London as media assistant at Burton Wisgard in 1985. I moved on
to FCB to become a planner/buyer, which, in those days, meant being a TV
and press buyer during the day and doing my planning in the evening ! In
1989 I moved to Leo Burnett for eight great years as strategist, group
head, head of press and strategic planning director. Decided to broaden
my business skills and use consumer understanding to develop media
brands by moving to BBC Worldwide. Moved to MPG in 2000 as I missed
pitching, the speed of working in media and working with a wide variety
of clients.
What one principle in life do you live by? Can do.
What advice would you give someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
I believe our role is genuinely understanding human behaviour and using
your skills to change that behaviour - so I would recommend defining
what you want to do within that context . Get the broadest experience
possible and you will be able to bring more to the table.
Your alternative career? Forensics/investigative journalism.
Name your three closest friends in the business Surely that would only
upset the people not mentioned.
Favourite consumer magazine Delicious from Seven Publishing.
Favourite business magazine Heat keeps you in touch with the real world.
(But I top up with The Economist.)

Favourite TV programme Haven't got one.
Favourite radio programme Plays on Radio 4.
How do you unwind? Unwind I haven't come across that word before.
What is your greatest extravagance? A corporate account with Jo Malone.
Name one thing about yourself that might surprise others I'm shy and
hate parties.
If you were an ad, what would your strapline be? "No problem, when do
you want it by ?"
Lowdown The brightest talent in MPG's management is an asset prized by
other agencies. But she has remained true to the Havas agency and, in
the past year, has set off on relentless pursuit of new business.
Despite her sharp mind, Oldham has the reputation of being disorganised
beyond belief.

still hack it? Time will tell.
O'RIORDAN, MARIE
Job Editor, Marie Claire.
Company Marie Claire, King's Reach Tower, Stamford Street, London SE1.
Work tel +44(0)20 8726 8000.
Details Not supplied.
Lowdown The Irish-born editor of the recently revamped women's monthly
has seen the magazines fortunes peak and trough over her three years in
the role. This year the title has clawed its way back into the game and
O'Riordan is now residing over a slightly resized and more modern
magazine, which is aiming to build on recent circulation growth that
exceeded even Glamour's.

If you were an ad, what would your strapline be? Undisclosed.
Lowdown A disillusioned O'Shea once quit the industry to drive a bakery
van. Fortunately, he returned to produce some of the UK's most memorable
advertising. Modest and self-effacing, he will forever be associated
with Waitrose's elegant television work. Fiercely loyal to his creative
partner, Ken Hoggins.
OVEREND, JOHN EDWARD
Job Joint managing director, OPera Media.
Company OPera Media, Seymour Mews House, 26-37 Seymour Mews, London W1.
Work tel +44(0)20 7908 3560.
Born 14 May 1963.
Place of birth Watford, Hertfordshire.
Lives Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.
Family Wife, Paivi (she's Finnish).
Career milestones Landing my first job in media at Dorland Advertising,
working with media legends such as Tony Kenyon, Steve Booth, Steve King,
Paul Longhurst, Simon Pardon - to name but a few. Buying my first TV
campaign, Yellow Pages "JR Hartley" Easter 1986, two days after starting
at Dorland.
Being one of the original buying directors at Zenith Media at the age of
26. Helping to create and shape the first large buying and planning
point in the UK at Zenith Media. Getting the chance to work with
Christine Walker. Making Steve King pay for a cab - just once! Telling
Ron Miller in a pub in Little Venice that Zenith was switching from
being a LWT supporter to a Carlton supporter - Ron Miller was the person
I respected most in the business. Spending the past six years working
with the finest group of people I have ever come across at PHD. Having
the chance with OPera to do it all again but better! Our first OPera
account win - Yellow Pages, August 2004.
What one principle in life do you live by? You only get one life.
What advice would you give someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
Don't be afraid to ask questions. Always behave with ingegrity and treat
others the way you wish to be treated yourself. You have to earn
respect.
Never give up.

travelling.
What is your greatest extravagance? Our apartment on the Algarve.
Name one thing about yourself that might surprise others I am 37.5 per
cent Maltese, 12.5 per cent Austrian and only 50 per cent English.
If you were an ad, what would your strapline be? "Actions speak louder
than words."
Lowdown The oddest thing about Overend is that he fails to come from the
usual hard-nosed, tough-as-hell TV buying mould. This provides him with
some much-needed interest, which is just as well because otherwise he'd
probably slip into anonymity.
OWEN, JOHN

What one principle in life do you live by? Treat people with respect but
don't fear
anyone. Unless you play for Manchester City, in which case be very
afraid of more or less everyone.
What advice would you give someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
Enjoy what you do, do it to the very best of your abilities and stick at
it. At the same time, be alive to opportunities when they come along and
grab them.
Your alternative career? Teacher/academic with nice long holidays and a
nice big chip on my shoulder.
Name your three closest friends in the business Undisclosed.

stage production
of Grease.
If you were an ad, what would your strapline be? "Reassuringly
expansive."
Lowdown Campaign has never looked better since John Owen stopped putting
all those pesky digital stories on the front. But, seriously, his
stellar career trajectory shows that launching the magazine's digital
coverage was merely a taste of what was to come.

Career milestones Not starting work until I was 26 and still believing
the job is interesting and fun aged 42. Managing to keep the standards
up for encouraging interesting media thinking at two great agencies when
I joined : WCRS and BMP. Advising on the rights and development of

awards for going the extra mile.
What one principle in life do you live by? You miss 100 per cent of the
shots you never take. Courtesy of Wayne Gretsky.
What advice would you give someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
Remember it is only a job. There is no right answer. Opinions are what
matter and make the job interesting. The job is really common sense -
consumers don't know they are a demographic, they just respond as people
to brands, media and the world at large. The most compelling people make
complicated things simple (I wish I was one of those). The most
important thing when you start is who you learn from.

richly deserves the executive in front of his head of strategy title.

Lowdown Pattison's relocation to the US proved shortlived and he
returned to the UK in 2004. If, as is rumoured, he has managed to
convince John Wren to cough up for a second Omnicom media network, he
might have to dig out that passport again.

emperor far away.
What advice would you give someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
Don't: freelance journalist to helicopter salesman to adman in different
parts of the world and now more often in a plane than at home, why
follow that? But assuming someone wanted to do well in our business, I
would tell them to remember that if they want something badly enough,
they can get it. And that tomorrow always brings another elephant to
wash ...

(still going) by joining WCRS in its early years; five years as board
director.
Moved to Sydney to run WCRS's Sydney agency. Rebuilt agency, won nine

What one principle in life do you live by? Smile - look for the
positives in every situation.
What advice would you give someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
Don't try to follow in footsteps: life ain't like that. Work harder and

successfully with most people. Work with the sharpest people you can
find - ideally those who also make you laugh.

POLLARD, IVAN
Job Partner, The Ingram Partnership.

Born 17 June 1962.
Place of birth Scarborough, Yorkshire.

who made Bob and Thelma's house in The Likely Lads and built by the
bloke who made the wobbly bridge.
Family Dad is a surgeon, mum is a farmer and neither is married to each
other. Four children in our family - all reared as my father's science
project - two brothers and a very peculiar sister. Marrying Elizabeth
this Christmas (if she still wants to).
Career milestones Joined BMP in 1987 after my community service. Loved
it for eight years then left for Wieden & Kennedy in 1995 to work in
Amsterdam on Nike - the only thing I could have loved more than BMP. In
1997, came back to London to help set up Unity, one of those
communications agency things, and joined The Ingram Partnership in 2003.
What one principle in life do you live by? Doing nothing is better than
not doing anything.
What advice would you give someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?
Wear really small shoes, watch out for the uphill bits, always do more
than you are asked and don't forget to have a good time.
Your alternative career? Floundered. Seriously. I would have been on the
scrap heap if it hadn't been for Tim McCloskey and Derek Morris taking a
chance on me.
Name your three closest friends in the business Paul Mukherjee at Wieden
& Kennedy - the wit of the devil and the body of a god (albeit Buddha).

give him credit for. And Viv Taylor at The Guardian - brain the size of

Favourite TV programme Match of the Day by a million miles. I try never
to miss it. I even like Gary Lineker.
Favourite radio programme Pete and Geoff on Virgin.
How do you unwind? Laugh. As much as I can. And pretend to still be fit
and healthy by running, balling, boarding and laughing with Mukherjee.
I read, I take crap photographs and I love going to the cinema. Sounds
really active, doesn't it? But, in truth, you are most likely to find me
crashed in front of a television watching Sky Sports.
What is your greatest extravagance? Gadgets. I can't stop buying them.
Especially cameras. I have about 15 and yet the only good pictures they
ever take is when Derek Morris uses them.
Name one thing about yourself that might surprise others I am not
actually that short - I am just a lot further away than you would think.
If you were an ad, what would your strapline be? "It's frothy, man."
Lowdown Said to be one of the best footballers in media, Pollard is
short of team mates at The Ingram Partnership compared with his BMP
days. Has managed to land the ultimate geek's brief in working on the
launch of the latest Star Wars film.
