Liz Tilberis' successor named at Harper's Bazaar

- Hearst has named Vogue US fashion news director Katherine Betts as editor in chief of Harper's Bazaar. She succeeds British born Liz Tilberis the long-serving editor of the magazine who died in April.

- Hearst has named Vogue US fashion news director Katherine Betts as editor in chief of Harper's Bazaar. She succeeds British born Liz Tilberis the long-serving editor of the magazine who died in April.

Betts leaves Vogue after almost eight years. She joined in 1991 as a fashion writer and held a variety of positions before taking up her most recent role as fashion news director.

Prior to Vogue Betts worked on a number of titles including Metropolitan Home, the International Herald Tribune, European Travel & Life and Women's Wear Daily.
