Zenith Media has won the Lloyds TSB and Cheltenham & Gloucester building society consolidated media planning and buying business, following a four way pitch against CIA Medianetwork, BBJ Media Services and Optimedia.

The final stages of the pitch resulted in a head to head between Zenith and CIA, who were both incumbents on the business. Zenith held the C&G account, while CIA held the much larger Lloyds TSB business.

Zenith's affiliate, Saatchi & Saatchi, won the creative task two weeks ago. Ford Ennals, director of group marketing for Lloyds TSB, said: "We are looking forward to entering a new partnership with Zenith Media and Saatchi & Saatchi. We are confident that they can achieve outstanding results for the group and help us build our portfolio of leading financial services brands."
